I am happy to report that since the unit was installed in Nov. 2004 our bird problem in our substation appears to be solved. The unit was installed easily and quickly, requiring a minimum of labour and seems to perform its function quite effectively.

RE: PHOENIX WAILER

I am responding to your letter of November 2004, concerning our purchase of a Phoenix Wailer.

Over the past few years, we had several major outages to our distribution system as a result of numerous birds at our major 25 K.V. capacitor substation. The subsequent damage to equipment and outages to our customers were a major concern to us and after consultation with an affiliated company that recommended the Phoenix Wailer, we decided to install one.

I am happy to report that since the unit was installed in Nov. 2004 our bird problem in our substation appears to be solved. The unit was installed easily and quickly, requiring a minimum of labour and seems to perform its function quite effectively.

From the results we have seen, I would not hesitate in recommending the use of the Phoenix Wailer to others who may be experiencing similar problems.

Sincerely,
